South LA Pride Planning Committee MeetiNg

Yes, boo—it’s that time again. South LA Pride 2025 is on the horizon, and the planning meetings have officially started. We’re back in action, gathering the brains, brilliance, and boldness it takes to throw the biggest, Blackest, Brownest, most unapologetically queer celebration South LA has ever seen.

This isn’t just about rainbow flags and stage lights (though yes, there will be both). It’s about building a space that centers us—our voices, our art, our resistance, our joy. And it all starts with community.

At our first planning meeting, we brought together a mix of returning faces and fresh energy—folks ready to roll up their sleeves, rep their neighborhoods, and help shape this year’s Pride from the ground up. From logistics and outreach to programming, vendors, performances, and our iconic Outside Kiki Ball, the work is already in motion.

We’re calling in more than just volunteers—we’re calling in visionaries. If you’ve ever said, “They should have this at Pride” or “Why don’t they do that?”—guess what? This is your moment. Your voice belongs at the table.

Planning meetings are open to the community. Whether you want to help organize, perform, vend, or just stay in the loop, come through. This is your Pride.

We meet up every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the 1st floor community room of Baldwin Hills Crenshaw—except of course for Juneteenth. Why? Cause it’s Juneteenth, lol. That week we will meet on the 18th. In the meantime, make sure you're signed up for updates and follow us on social media so you don’t miss a beat.

Let’s make South LA Pride 2025 everything it needs to be—and then some.
